Bessie Minerva Reynolds Acres, 83, of Seymour, formerly of Oneida, passed away Wednesday morning, August 11 at the Lake City Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Edmund Reynolds and the late Catherine Wilhite Reynolds.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Acres; one daughter, Ruby Acres; three sisters: Nellie Acres, Emma Horn, and Ruth Cecil; one brother, C. L. Reynolds. She was a member of the Salem Baptist Church.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, August 14, at the West-Murley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in the Acres Cemetery in the Buffalo Community. West-Murley Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
