Mr. Allen was born in Lyles, TN to the late John and Amanda Hudgins Allen. He was a carpenter employed by Stanley Jones Co. and was a member of the Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his wife, Clara McGahey Allen; 3 daughters, Carol Loveless and Janice Chessor, both of Centerville; and Vicky Donegan of Linden, TN; by 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; 5 sisters, Susie Crotzer of Bon Aqua; Lera Warren of Lyles; Martha Bishop of Bon Aqua; Louise Russell of Lyles; and Annie Pearl Wilson of Centerville; and by 1 brother, J.B. Allen of Lyles.
