The funeral of Mrs. clara V. White, 78 who died friday at her home at 1716 N. e. 63rd Ave. will be at 1030 am Monday at Ross Hollywood chapel. Burial will be in the family plot in Bellcrest Cemetey, Salem.
Mrs. White was born in Illinois in 1871 and was married to Elliott E. White in Kansas in 1889. They came to Oregon in 1906 and settled in Brownsville where she lived until 1906 when she moved to Portland. She was a member of Brownsville presbyterian church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. V. E. Weber and Mrs. George R. Cobb, both of Portland,
and Mrs. E. A. Tonseth, Fairbanks, Alsaka, five grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Clara was the daughter of Benjamin and Samantha Ellen Moyer Macklin. She married Elliott White June 26 1889 in Hutchinson Kansas. They had 3 daughters.
