Leon was born in Harper, Texas, on October 2, 1924, to Felix and Minnie Wendell Feuge. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. On August 16, 1952, he married the love of his life Charline Pate in Glen Rose, Texas. They moved to Rankin in 1960. Leon worked as the hospital administrator at the Rankin County Hospital until his retirement.
Leon was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Gehrig Feuge on June 16, 1980; and a daughter, Evelyn C. Badgett on June 17, 1997.
Leon is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Charline Feuge of Rankin: a son Carl Feuge of Midland; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
