Harriet E. Antes, Of 1739 Greensburg Road, North Canton, Ohio, and formerly of 871 37th St., died at 8:20 a.m. yesterday, July 19, 1974, at Green Cross Hospital, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, following a three month long illness.

She was born Nov 23, 1889, in Altoona, a daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Davis) Hawk, and was twice married, first to Colland Rooney, who died in 1945, and then to Ernest C. Antes, who died April 13, 1970. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Irene Croft and Mrs. Thelma Willis of Akron, Ohio; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, three step children Mrs. Verna Kelley of East Point, Ga., A. Eugene of Sylvan Drive, Hollidaysburg, and Richard of Philadelphia; a number of step grandchildren and step great grandchildren, and a sister Mrs. Margaret Corie of Altoona.

Mrs. Antes was a member of the Broad Avenue United Methodist Church, and of the Dames of Malta and Daughters of America of Altoona.

Friends will be received in the Carn Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
