Lisa M. Sanders, 44, 908 King Springs Road, Johnson City, passed away at her residence Monday, November 24, 2008.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City and was a daughter of Agnes Honeycutt Sanders of Erwin and the late William Frank Sanders.
Ms. Sanders had worked in Retail Sales for many years. Lisa had never met a stranger and loved everyone she met. She was always smiling and would brighten up a room where ever she visited.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a brother, Kenny Sanders in July 2008.
Survivors in addition to her mother includes three brothers, Norman Sanders, Kingsport, Keith Sanders and his wife, Delaine, Jonesborough and Mike Sanders, Erwin; a sister, Robin Scholten and her husband, Steve, Boones Creek; a special friend, Spencer Cummings, Johnson City; three nephews, Pete, Scotty and Nick Sanders; two nieces, Stacey Scholten and Kristen Sanders.
Graveside services for Ms. Sanders will be conducted 2:30 PM Monday, December 1, 2008, in the Edgefield United Methodist Church Cemetery, Piney Flats with the Pastor Jeff Connell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM then proceed to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
