He is survived by: His wife of 58 years: Betty Joyce (Newton) Goodson, Bay Minette, AL His 4 daughters: Sherrie Parker, Stockton, AL Paula Norris (Stewart), Spanish Fort, AL Jerrie Lundy (Byron), Mobile, AL Lisa Holland (Jon), Stockton, AL His 9 grandchildren: Melonie Alexander, Clay Stevens, Matthew Stevens, Joey Norris, Jennifer Weaver, Donnie Findley, Jessica Leachman, Bridget Bryars and Cody Holland 12 great-grandchildren His sister: Mable Hogan, Atmore, AL He was preceded in death by: His grandson: Jason Norris 3 sisters and 1 brother
The funeral service will be held Friday, October 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at McCullough Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Norris Funeral Home Thursday, October 8, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Military Honors will be rendered by the U. S. Navy honor guard.
The pallbearers are Jamie Weaver, Clay Stevens, Matthew Stevens, Donnie Findley, Cody Holland and Joey Norris.
