BLAINE AUSTIN ALBRECHT
LOA, Utah—Graveside services for Blaine Austin Albrecht were Monday, Sept. 18, with military rites by Harold Brown American Legion Post No. 92 in the Loa Cemetery.
Albrech, 59, of Rock Springs died after a lengthy illness Sept. 14 at the LDS hospital in Salt Lake City.
He was born June 29, 1930 in Fremont, Wayne County, Utah, to Leonard and Verda Searls Albrecht. He married Janice Preston on May 5, 1973, in Reno, Nev. He graduated from Wayne County High School and was a veteran of the Korean War.
He had lived in Rock Springs for the past 11 years where he was employed as a diesel mechanic for Cummins International.
He is survived by his wife of Rock Springs; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Chip (Glenda) Martin of Selma, Ala.; one stepson, Mark Reeves, Reno; two stepgrandchildren; his mother of Salt Lake; five brothers, LaMar, John, Ross, Marvin, Bill and a sister, Darlene Albrecht, all of Salt Lake City.
