PIONEER DIES
Jens P. Peterson died at his home in Scipio on November 9th at the age of seventy two. For over fifty years, Mr. Peterson has made his home in Millard County, coming to this country as a boy from Denmark. One of the early settlers here, he has contributed greatly to the growth of this country and made a prosperous and honored place for himself. Mr. Peterson was a man of great natural ability and fine qualities , an outstanding figure in his community despite the fact that he was blind for the past forty years. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Christine Peterson and two children Dean F. Peterson and Mrs. Wallace Holman both of Delta. Funeral services were held in Scipio and interment there.
