STARKVILLE- Nellie Maynor Patton, 91, formerly of Vardaman, died Wed., Jan 5, 2000 at Oktibbeha County Hospital. She was born Dec. 7, 1908 to the late Tom and Martha Maynor. She was a retired homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was the wife of Robert E. Patton, who died in 1976.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with her grandson, Jim Wiginton III officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Mae Patton Wiginton and her husband, Jim, of Corinth; one son, James E. "Jim" Patton
and his wife, Dot, of West Point; her special friends, George and Betty OBrian of Starkville; five grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 until 9 p.m. today.
