Buchanan, Mary Grace, died Wednesday, June 15, 2005. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Denton Buchanan; daughter, Joan Sturgis; and sons, James Dentron Buchanan and Edward Timothy Buchanan. Surviving relatives include her sister and brother-in-law, Julia May and Alvin Jackson of Springville, AL; daughter-in-law, Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Tucker; son-in-law, Roy Sturgis; grandson, Michael Sturgis; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, Trussville. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Jefferson Memorial Trussville is directing.
