Graveside service: 3:30 p.m. Friday in Parkdale Cemetery, Arlington. Visitation: 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at Davis Funeral Chapel.
Hazel Marguerite Dodd Buckley was born Aug. 27, 1919, in Wichita Falls, the middle daughter of Bonnie Beatrice Tilton Dodd and Levi Elkin "Lee" Dodd. She studied at eight colleges and universities, Tarleton in Stephenville, Howard Payne in Brownwood, where she received a bachelor's degree, Texas Christian University, where she received a master's of education.
Her greatest interests included the right to life from conception to natural death, freedom of religion, and melodies, prose, drawing, handwriting, genealogy and history.
Survivors: Daughters, Bonnie Lee Buckley Ashlock and husband, Randall Thomas Ashlock, and Lynda Carolyn Buckley Tirhi and husband, Ghaleb M. Tirhi; her grandchildren, Randy Ashlock Jr. and wife, Cathy, Dana Paul Ashlock and wife, Julie, Jamil G. Tirhi and wife, Caryn, Andrea Noella Tirhi; her great-grandchildren, Britainy Elizabeth, Colen Ashlock, Dax Kadin Ashlock, Bethany Grace Tirhi, Luke Alexander Tirhi; sisters, Rachel Alene Dodd of Mexia and Grace Levonia Dodd Mann of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and all of her descendants in Tarrant County.
