The graveside services for Lea Johnson, 95 year-old Enid resident, will be Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 10:00AM in the Memorial Park cemetery. The Rev. Vernon Lee will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
Lea was born January 6, 1913 in Ingersoll, Oklahoma to O.C. Hodgson and Ida B. (Johnson) Hodgson and died Wednesday, October 01, 2008 in St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. She attended Driftwood school. On March 30, 1930 she married Art Johnson in Fairview, OK. The couple made their home in Driftwood for a time, eventually moving to Enid in 1950. Lea was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing. She entered many fairs, winning numerous ribbons. Lea also liked playing cards and was a member of many card clubs. She was also a member of the Home Extention Association and a long-time member of Davis Park Christian Church.

She is survived by three children; Ted Johnson and wife Rita of Wichita, Kansas, Judy K. Wegmiller and husband Bob of Enid, and Mark Johnson and wife Terry Armour also of Enid. 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. One brother, Jim Hodgson of Winfield, KS. as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 4 brothers and one sister.
