Excerpt -- Died, at his home in Aurora last Friday evening, Nov. 15, 1901, Mr. H. R. VanSickel. Mr. VanSickel had suffered for more that a year with consumption and the end came to relieve a long and patient sufferer. He was a man but little past 30 years. All who knew him will testify to his high moral and business standing. He was liked by every one and was twice elected to the office of justice of the peace in Union district. The funeral was held Monday morning of this week, and interment was made in the Carmel Cemetery. He leaves a devoted wife to mourn the loss of her companion.
