John Cole is Dead at 91
John Brondy Cole, 91, died at a Greenville nursing home yesterday at 10 am, following a long period of declining health.
Born August 25, 1872 in Erwin, Tenn., he was a son of the late Giff and Martha Jane Barnett Cole. He lived most of his life in Greenville.
Mr. Cole was a retired farmer.
Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted in O'Neal Cemetery today at 4 pm by Rev. Carl Fiske.
Pallbearers will be Fred W. Ponder, Melvin B. Ross, Harvey H. Norris, John H. Holcombe, Barney N. Roe, Fred Green, and James W. Black.
The body is at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home.
