Bonnie Lee Lawson Hendrix, 88, passed away Wed, Feb 21, 2007, at McNairy Regional Hospital in Selmer, TN. She was a beautician and a member of the Mount Vernon Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Selmer FCE.
Mrs. Hendrix is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Benton and Hattie Lee Burress Lawson; husband, Moman Lee Hendrix; two brothers, Walton Lawson and Buford Lawson; sister, Carolyn Brooks; grandson, Matthew Plante. She is survived by three sons, Lee Hendrix and wife, Mary of Memphis, TN, Robert Hendrix and wife, June of Gurley, AL, and Bobby Hendrix and wife, Susan of Stantonville, TN; brother, Andrew Lawson and wife, Norma of Ramer, TN; sister, Mabel Lawson Cramer of Selmer, TN; three daughters, Pam Hendrix Levron of Greenwood, SC, Teresa (Tracey) Plante and husband, Jim of Selmer, TN, and Wanda Chapman and husband, Tony of Selmer, TN; 14 grandchildren; 18 great- grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
Services were at 11:00 a.m. on Sat. Feb 24, 2007, at the Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Selmer, TN. with Charles Hill officiating. Pallbearers were Ben Lawson, Tim Hendrix, Jim Hendrix, Jayte Chapman, Josh Graves, Joel Rusche, T.J. Riley. Burial followed in the Mars Hill Cemetery in Adamsville, TN. Shackelford Funeral Directors were in charge of arrangements.
