Nora Agnes Dunlap Browne Culp, of Charleston, entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of November 23, 2008.

Mrs. Culp was the daughter of John Webster Browne and Margaret Hunter Dunlap Lott Browne.

She graduated from Winthrop College and did graduate work at the University of Georgia and New York University. She taught for many years at the Charles Webb School and was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, professional educators' society. She was a long time member of St. Philip's Episcopal Church. During her life, Mrs. Culp was an active and contributing member of her community.

She was the widow of Francis Bartow Culp and is survived by her son, F. Bartow Culp of Lafayette, IN; two daughters, M. Hunter C. Levinsohn and husband, Jay of Chapel Hill, NC, Dunlap Culp Silver and husband Richard of Charleston; four grandchildren, Amalia Meng Culp, Annabel Frances Levinsohn and husband Jonathan Cirella, Jacob Everett Levinsohn and Katherine Culp Silver and one great-grandchild, Nora Jane Frances Cirella.

She was predeceased by one son, Benjamin Dudley Culp.

Interment was in St. Philip's Episcopal Churchyard.
