Judith Anne Shelton, age 64, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and great aunt passed away on November 22, 2008 after a valiant battle with Cancer. She resided at 984 East 900 South in St. George, Utah at the time of her death.


Born August 31, 1944 in Salt Lake City, UT to Cloward F. and Beth Caldwell Shelton. Cloward passed away while Judy was young, and she was raised by her mother Beth and step-father Mitchell Forbush. She was an active member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints, and served in various callings in the Church including working with the youth, the seniors, and her favorite, leading the music. Judy graduated from Jordan High School in Sandy, UT., and attended BYU. She retired from US WEST, now Quest Communications in 1998 after 34 1/2 years of service.


After her retirement she moved to St. George, UT, to live near Beth and Mitchell Forbush and assisted them until their passing. Judy was her nieces and nephews "Favorite Aunt," and she enjoyed music, travel, and taking pictures of every possible event. But most of all serving others.


She is survived by her brothers; Norman (Daria) Forbush, Kent (Debbie) Forbush, her sister Renee (Steven) Leavitt, many nieces and nephews, and her best friend her dog Molly. She is preceded in death by her parents.


Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 28, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Morningside Stake Center located at 900 South River Road in St. George, UT. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Spilsbury Mortuary located at 110 South Bluff Street in St. George and at the Church on Friday, November 28, 2008 from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Graveside Services will be held in the Elysian Burial Gardens Cemetery located at 1075 East College Street (4580 South) in Millcreek Township, UT on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.
