Gladys Eason Wren Barr passed away February 18, 2004, in Ormond Beach, Florida. Born September 11, 1921, to Anderson and Nannie Belle Adamson Eason in Ellenwood, Georgia. Mrs. Barr graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1938 and retired from Kraft Foods, Inc., in Decatur, Georgia, in 1981, the year she moved to the Ormond Beach area. She was predeceased by her first husband H. Ed Wren, her sister Mrs. O.R. (Hildreth) Longino, and her brother Roy D. Eason.

Survivors include her husband, W. Emory Barr, Jr., of Ormond Beach, Florida, and Rex, Georgia; daughter, Jenny Wren of Balad, Iraq; son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Barbara Wren of Griffin, Georgia; grandchildren, Mary Wren of Augusta, Georgia, Mac and Britton Wren of Smyrna, Georgia; and her sister, Mrs. Howard (Betty) Vickers of Flagler Beach, Florida. Additional survivors include several nieces and nephews, Randy and Linda Longino of Fayetteville, Georgia, Dwaine and Lynda Clark of Jonesboro, Georgia, Kathy Vass of Greenville, South Carolina, a great niece and two great nephews, and stepchildren, Doug and Edie Barr of Rex, Georgia, and Martha and Tom Zinram of Daytona Beach, Florida.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 28, 2004, at Haisten Eastlawn Cemetery in McDonough, Georgia, with the Rev. Wells Newell Graham officiating.
