Memorial services for Lonnie Lee Beall, Sr. will be held at 8636 US Highway 271 North in Midway, Texas, on Saturday, July 30, 2011, at 10 A.M. with Reverend Tommy Brasher and Reverend Pat Shannon officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Born on April 3, 1929, he passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2011. He was a loving father and grandfather. A wonderful provider for his children, he retired from ACFX Industries. His last few months he enjoyed fishing and spending time on the farm feeding the ducks, geese, and horses. He also loved to spend time with his beloved dogs, Shelby and Sadie. The times he spent at Midway were some of the best times of his life because he had the ones he loved the most around all the time. He brought his family closer together. Lonnie was an exceptional man who could brighten your day with a smile. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his children, Gloria Mathis; Lonnie Beall, Jr., and wife Gloria; Max Beall and wife Sharon; two granddaughters; two grandsons; and four great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, William and Lula Mae Beall; his brothers, Earnest and Bennie Beall; his sisters, Maxine McLane and Lola Mae Cobb; his daughter, Jimmie Beall; and his grandson, Keith Beall. The family would like to thank the staff of ETMC in Pittsburg for the care he received. If so desired, memorials may be made to Safe Haven Horses.
