Carroll Sentinel - February 27, 1885 - W.H. Higgins, of Grant City, was taken to the insane asylum at Independence, last Monday, by Sheriff Wilson.
- News reaches us that Mr. W.H. Higgins, of Grant City, recently postmaster at that place, has temporarily lost his mind by reason of the deaths in his family. He is not at all dangerous, and it is hoped that he will soon recover under proper treatment. Sac Sun
