Emma C. Peters, 82, a resident of Susque-View, passed away Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008 at Susque-View.
Born May 20, 1926 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late William C. Merrill and Edna M. Shadle.
Her husband, Alvin R. Peters, preceded her in death in October 1993.
She was a member of Flemington United Methodist Church.
Emma is survived by two sons, Alvin K. (Barbara Ann) Peters of Lock Haven and Jerry A. (Debora) Peters of Loganton; a daughter, Bonnie J. Kurtz of Williamsport; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, with the Rev. Larry Cole officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
