RONALD PIPPERT
WAKEMAN -- Ronald Pippert, 46, of Wakeman, died unexpectedly Monday, Oct. 2. 2000, at his home. He was born Oct. 28, 1953 in Oberlin, and had lived in this area his entire life.

He was a 1972 graduate of Firelands High School.

Pippert was employed at USS/Kobe Steel in Lorain, and also farmed.

He raised beef cattle and helped his children show them at the county fair. He enjoyed hunting.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Linda (nee Tite); daughter, Jennifer Pippert of Wakeman; sons Zachary Pippert of Norwalk, and Joshua Pippert of Wakeman; his parents Irvin and Betty (nee Ashby) Pippert; sisters Nancy and Donna Pippert, both of Wakeman, and Cindy Knapp of Elyria; brother, Timothy Pippert of Oberlin; several nieces and nephews; and his grandmother, Rachel Ashby of Wakeman.

Friends may call Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Gerber-Smith Funeral Home, 16 Cooper St., Wakeman, where services will be Friday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Camden Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Huron County Fair Board.
