Cheney Amidon, one of the early settlers of the town of Onondaga, died at his residence there yesterday. He was born in Columbia, Conn, resided in Onondaga nearly or quite sixty years, and was aged seventy-nine years. Mr. Amidon had enjoyed good health until within two-three months. His funeral will take place at the Presbyterian Church at South Hollow, tomorrow afternoon at one o'clock.
