Colonial Governor of North Carolina 1712-1714 and again in 1722.

In 1888 the Edenton chapter of the Colonial Dames moved the Pollock plantation graveyard from Balgray [also Balgra, Bal-Gra] on Salmon Creek, Bertie Co., NC to St Paul's Episcopal Church, Edenton, and erected a plaque to identify the "Governor's Stones."
Colonial Governor of North Carolina 1712-1714 and again in 1722.
