Visitation and funeral services for Alice R. Conover, 82, of Sumner, will be held at the Emmons-Macey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Burial will be in the Charlottesville Cemetery.
Mrs. Conover died Sunday, March 29, 1987 at the United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville.
She was born August 7, 1904 in Lawrenceville, the daughter of Ethalbert and Minnie (Walters) Wright. She married Vernon Conover on March 15, 1925, who preceded her in death in 1965.
Survivors include one brother, George Wright of Lawrenceville; seven sisters, Orphal Wright, Sally Govers, and Mary Watson of Lawrenceville, Edythe Stoltz, Bridgeport, Cassie E. Cassie, Alexandria, Va., Thelma Summers, Vincennes, Ind., and Letha Burrell of Birds.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Conover was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
