Rachel Iiams Dart is the daughter of William Iiams born in 1750 in Maryland, died in 1831. Rachel was one of six children. Amos Iiams, Jesse Iiams, Mary Iiams Gordon, Rebecca Iiams Crow, William Iiams Jr.and Rachel Iiams Dart. Rachel married Thomas Dart ABT 1801. Rachel and Thomas had a large family though not all of the names of their children are known at this time. Rachel and Thomas had a son named Amor Dart , b. 1 Nov 1812, d. 5 Sep 1890, son Moses, death 25 Sep 1859 in AR, son Joseph, b. 2 Nov 1805, d. 31 Mar 1857, and daughters Sarah Dart Spradling, b. 25 May 1817, d. 26 May 1907, Sinah Dart Price, 19 Dec 1821, d. 26 Nov 1911, and Rachel Dart Cunningham, b. Oct 1802, d. 7 Jul 1885. Rachel and her son, Amor, are buried at the Bunker Hill Cemetery near St. Francisville, ILL. The cemetery is on the property where Rachel's son, Amor lived and the cemetery is very old. It is believed that Rachel's husband, Thomas Dart, died in Missouri.
