Dorothy G. Stiver of 3528 Pine Ave., died at 12:55 a.m. today, Nov. 6, 1970 in Altoona Hospital, where she was admitted Oct. 30, after an extended illness.
She was born in Altoona Sept. 28, 1920, a daughter of George and Mary Bartley, and married Meryle Stiver.
Surviving are her husband, 10 children, Meryle Jr., Mrs. Margaret C. Lees, Ray N., Mrs. Judith Green, Mrs. Melody L. Maretich, Thomas L., Mrs. Sylvia L. Claar and Mrs. Sally Holton of Altoona, Mrs. Pauline Hostler of Bellwood and Susan, at home; 21 grandchildren, and eight brothers and sisters, Robert B. of Lancaster, Kenneth of Babbitt, Nev., Raymond, John, Mrs. Anna Belle Neff, Mrs. Thelma Crostley and Mrs. May Jones of Altoona, and Mrs. Pauline Echard of Duncansville.
Mrs. Stiver was a member of the Menonite Church.
Friends will be received in the Stevens Mortuary from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
