Her actual birth date was 22 November 1828, from the Newton Family Bible - Elizabeth Ann Newton Singleton was the daughter of William Isaac Newton and Margaret Ann Stringfield, both of whom are buried in Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Brooks County.
