She was born May 5, 1876 in Pleasant Grove, a daughter of Elijah and Martha Walker Mayhew. She spent her early life in Giles, Wayne County.
She was married to Rufus E. Stoddard in Giles, May 23, 1896. He died May 17, 1934 in Richfield, Utah. She was married to James H. Ogden, Nov. 4, 1936, in Richfield, Utah.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Surviving are three sons, Scott A. Stoddard, Bakersfield, Cal.; Frank and LaMar Stoddard, Tooele; two daughters, Mrs. Ruby S. Hawley, Klamath Falls, Ore., and Mrs. LaRue S. Smith, Elsinore; 30 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters, Frank Ray and Shelby Mayhew and Mrs. Hyrum A. Knight, all of Salt Lake City.
