Funeral services will be held Saturday for Louis Julian Waldo, who died Tuesday at his home at 531 Denver street.

Conducting services at 2 p.m. at Behrens mortuary will be Rev. Rew Walz of the Presbyterian church. Burial will be in Mountain View cemetery.

Waldo was born Oct. 20, 1860, at Marshalltown, Iowa. In 1881, he was married to Margaret Ballard, and the couple moved to South Dakota in 1902. They had lived in Rapid City since 1936.

Surviving are his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Nora Leigh, Wilmington, Calif.; and Mrs. Arthur Stevens, Hyattsville, Md.; and three sons, Clarence of Eloy, Ariz.; Marion and Ray Waldo of Rapid City; a sister, Mrs. Jack Cowden, Ono, Calif.; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
