CUSTER - Albert M., 88, 336 Arthur Street, died evening of Jan. 8, 1961, at Memorial Hospital. Born in Conemaugh Township Mar. 28, 1873, son of Henry and Phoebe (Hugh) Custer. Preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters. Survived by widow, former Ellen Miller,a dn these children: Howard M. married to Elizabeth Shaffer, 1750 Sunshine Avenue; Stella M. wife of Roy Diehl, Roaring Spring; Harry C., married to Midlred Boring, Mill Hall; Helen I., wife of Philip Cook, 926 Bloom Street, and Homer E., at home; also 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Life member of Beulah EUB Church. Former member of board of trustees. Served many years as Dale Borough councilman. Pensioner of Bethlehem Steel Company. Friends received after 7 p. m. Tuesday in Fred G. Geisel Funeral Home, where service will be held at 1 p. m. Thursday, Rev. Budd R. Smith and Dr. Boyd E. Coleman. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.
