Ms. Lisa Reed of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Thursday, November 20, 2008, from pulmonary hypertension. Ms. Reed was the daughter of the late Pete Pruitt and Dorothy Marie Simpson.
Ms. Reed was a Customer Service Manager at Harps grocery on Grand Avenue in Fort Smith; she was also a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Van Buren, Arkansas.
Ms. Reed was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband of 14 years: Gary Don Reed Jr.; three daughters: Brianna Mechelle Reed, Elizabeth Denice Reed, and Autumn Rose Reed; a brother: James Figgins of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; three sisters: Georgia Marie Hutchings, of Smithton, Missouri, Rose Figgins of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Sue Simpson, of Green Bay, Wisconsin; two half-sisters: Melanie Bradley of Ponce de Leon, FLorida, and Janet Goldmillion and her husband: Arthur, also from Ponce de Leon, Florida; three half-brothers: Rick Pruitt of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Dennis Pruitt and ? Pruitt; two aunts: Jean Thomson of Van Buren, Arkansas, and Helen Figgins, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; one uncle: Eugene Hopkins of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; a nephew: Ray Hutchings, of Independence, Missouri; two nieces: Bethanie Hayes of Lees Summit, Missouri, and Gayle Dougan, of Jefferson City Missouri; four cousins: Joyce Orta of Texas, Ginger Gitthens of Greenwood, Arkansas, Bryan Hopkins of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Teresa Kain, of Van Buren, Arkansas; and many good friends.
Funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 26, 2008, at Oak Cliff Baptist Church.
