He was born November 6, 1913, at Fowler. He married Zina E. Mahieu on March 14, 1945 at Kingman. He was a retired farmer and had been a lifetime resident of Fowler.
He was a member of the Fowler Christian Church and the Odd Fellow Lodge, Fowler.
Survivors include, his wife, of the home; a step-daughter, Anita Houser, Pueblo, Colorado; brother, George, Van Nuys, California; sister, Clara Detwiler, Chattanooga, Tennessee; and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church; Tom Walters officiating. Burial will be at Fowler Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. Wednesday at Fidler-Orme Mortuary, Meade.
