Grace Baker Summers, widow of John W. B. Summers died suddenly Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Frederick Memorial Hospital following a heart attack. Born in Lewistown, a daughter of the late W. Christopher and Susan Devilbiss Baker she was 79 years of age, and the last of her immediate family. Surviving are three sons, John Arthur Summer, Richard J. Summers, and Paul H. Summers, all of RFD 5 Frederick, and one daughter, Mrs. Grace R. Stone, Buckeystown. Six grandchildren one great grandchild, and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Mrs. Summers was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
She was one of the oldest residents of the "Old Braddock" area, and was active in the Womans Club, and was a member of the Braddock Grange.

The body is at the funeral home 1201 North Market street where friends may call after 7 p.m. today. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home Monday 11 a.m. by her pastor Rev. Charles F. Trunk. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Robert E. Dailey and Son, funeral directors.
