Hawthorne - Stacy Amelia Nelson, age 43, passed away November 20, 2008. She was born September 24, 1965 in Poughkeepsie, New York to John S. Wilson and Sonja Wood. She moved to Hawthorne from Utah in 1990 where she worked as a custodian for Hawthorne High School for nine years. She was part of a bowling league in Gainesville and a member of the Interlachen Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She is survived by her father John S. Wilson of Kentucky, mother Sonja Wilson of Hawthorne, son Michael Nelson of Hawthorne, three brothers John Wilson of Naples, Scott Wilson of Birmingham, AL and Jeff Wilson of Gainesville, FL, and three grandchildren, Denashia King, Heaven King, and L.C. King IV.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Williams-Thomas Hawthorne Chapel, US 301 South at Lake Avenue, with Bishop Howard Booth officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM. Burial to follow at Hawthorne Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Williams-Thomas Hawthorne Funeral Home.
