Jack Norman Dodd, 74, Greencastle, died Tuesday evening at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born Sept. 16, 1930 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Frederick and Ethel (Tames) Dodd.
A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, he had been an over-the-road truck driver for several years. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 669, Indianapolis.
He married Alma Florence Sheffield on June 11, 1954. She survives.
Also surviving are a son, Steve Dodd and wife Cindy, Omaha, Neb.; three daughters, Sandy Dodd, Greencastle, Susie McMurtry and husband Bill, Roachdale, and Sally Fowler and husband Doug, Bainbridge; a sister, Mary Burnham, Indianapolis; a brother, David Dodd, Indianapolis; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Bainbridge Cemetery.
Visitation is 1-2 p.m. Friday at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle.
