ARLINGTON - Barbara E. Quamme, age 69, died on Saturday, April 12, 2003, at her home in Arlington surrounded by her loving children who cared for her for the last two years. Barbara Edith Lange was born on January 16, 1935, in Columbus, to Roy and Dorothy (Lueders) Lange.
On August 1, 1953, she was united in marriage with Artman Quamme in Dubuque, Iowa. He preceded her in death in April of 2001. Barbara loved being with her children, reading, watching birds, and traveling.
She is survived by her children; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Harry (Pat) Lange of Lake Windsor, and Bob (Karen) Lange of DeForest; sisters, Kathy Lange of DeForest, and Doreen (Marty) Carpenter of DeForest; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother, David Lange.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at 11 a.m. at UNITED IN CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4650 Highway DM, Morrisonville, Wisconsin. The Reverend O. Rolf Olson will officiate. Burial will follow at Spring Prairie Cemetery.
