Mattie Davis
CADIZ, Ky.--Mattie Sumner Davis, 95, of Cadiz died at 12:45 a.m. Sunday at Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz.
She was a member of Boyds Hill Baptist Church.
Mrs. Davis is survived by one daughter, Kathleen Herndon of Trigg County; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and 2 stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jett Ezell; her second husband, Wade Davis; three brothers; one sister; and one half sister. Her parents were Calvin and Nora Thomas Sumner.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz with the Rev. O.D. Boyd officiating. Burial will be in Lawrence Cemetery in Trigg County.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
