Andrew Parsons, 82, Of Millard, died Sunday, June 4, 2006, at the Pikeville Medical Center.
He ws born June 15, 1923, the son of John T. and Mandy (Chaney) Parsons. He was a member of the Philadelphia Regular Baptist Church.
Andrew worked as a mechanic for Three Way Service Station.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helena (Chaney) Parsons, who died in 1982, and six brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include
one son: Donald Parsons of Jefferson City, TN
two daughters: Doris Sammons of Rocky Rd.
Connie Ratliff of Rocky Rd.
One brother: John Jr. Parsons of Savannah, GA
One sister: Elena Blackburn of Justiceville
Also survived by six grandchildren, and six great- grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 Wednesday, June 7, in the J. W. Call and Son Funeral Home Chapel with A. B. Thacker, Doug Thompson, and others officiating. Burial followed in the Parsons Cemetery, Millard.
