Alta was my 2nd cousin through her father, Thomas Bert McArthur.
Our loving mother, grandmother and friend returned to her heavenly home on Monday, November 17, 2008. She resided at 8155 South Redwood Road (1700 West) in West Jordan, Utah at the time of her death.

Lou was born March 14, 1925 in Garfield, Utah to Thomas Bert McArthur and Hazel Hollist. She married Everett Bert Morrow in Coalville, Utah on November 3, 1973. Lou was a great cook and loved to feed all of us. She set a great example of hard work and dedication. We know she loves us.

Lou was survived by her children, Yvonne (Carl) Silcox, Susan (Stan) Green, David (Sandy) McCluskey, Beci (Tony) Perea, Richard (Tammy) Morrow; 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; sons, Michael, Patrick and John McCluskey; sisters, Lavon, Darlene, Deloris; brothers, Mick, Tom, Wayne, Ray and grandson, Brian.

Graveside Services were held on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery located at 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West) in Taylorsville, Utah. A viewing was held on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary and one hour prior to the services on Saturday.
