Billy Wayne Landers, 38, of Vernon, Texas, died there Monday of a heart attack, his sister-in-law, here, Mrs. Billy Brackeen, 3440 Robin Road, was notified.
Born in Lamar County, he was a 1950 graduate of Powderly High School, and left here about five years later.
Surviving are his father, Pete Landers of Vernon, his mother, now Mrs. Bob Chambless of Dallas, Texas, his wife, the former June Doyle of Paris, and a daughter, Vickie Landers of Vernon, besides his sister-in-law here; and his sister, Betty Joyce Goodnight of Dallas.
Billy Wayne is buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Paris, Lamar County, Texas.
