Mrs. Matilda Rainwater, 70, of this city, died Monday morning, January 15, 1945 at the home of her son, Sam Rainwater. Death was attributed to a heart ailment. Funeral services were held at Faith Funeral Home with burial in DeLand cemetery.
Mrs. Rainwater was born in Wayne County, Kentucky on June 11, 1874. Her husband preceded her in death and she has lived in Monticello only a few years. She leaves her son, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
