John Wesley Burge III of Colbert Ave. in Warrington died Sunday at a hospital. He was 66. Mr. Burge was a native of Mobile, Ala., but had resided in Pensacola for the past 43 years. He was a member of Fairfield Presbyterian Church, serving as a church elder for 29 years, and belonged lo Escambia Masonic Lodge No. 15 where he was a Royal Arch Mason. Mr. Burge was a retired civilian employee at Pensacola Naval Air Station. Survivors include his wife, Mary Jo Burge of Warrington; a son, John Wesley Burge IV of St. Louis, Mo.; two daughters, Carol Clay of Tucson, Ariz., and Thea Fischler of Pensacola; five sisters, Mrs. L.W. Cohron and Julia Schaub, both of Mobile, Mary Sylvest of Fairhope, Ala., Mrs. Tom Laird of Son Antonio, Texas, and Vivian Trotter of Knoxville, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren.
