Deceased Name: John (Chicken) Gleghorn
John (Chicken) Gleghorn, 63, of Shippenville, Pa., died on July 27, 2007.

He was born in Akron and raised in Stow. He was a graduate of Stow High School and a Vietnam Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Edna Gleghorn and beloved sister, Susan Braun Henry, he is survived by his wife of 28 years, Linda; his brothers, Dan (Mary) Gleghorn of Stow, Ervin (Robin) Gleghorn of New Knoxville, Ohio and Tim Gleghorn of Texas; his sisters, Barbara (Russ) Williams of Robertsdale, Al and Gigi (Joe) Mongomery of Cuyahoga Falls. He had many nieces, great-nieces and great-great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews and great-great-nephews.

His funeral service was officiated by the Rev. John Phillips and his brother the Rev. Ervin Gleghorn. He was interred at the Cedarview Memorial Park in Strattanville, Pa., with a military committal by the Clarion American Legion. Funeral arrangements were made by the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home of Clarion, Pa.
