Mr. Bourland retired from the United States Navy after serving in World War II. He was a member of Oak Valley Church of Christ and Carpenter's Local #357.
Mr. Bourland is survived by one daughter, Kim Myers of Benton, KY; one son, Lee Bourland of Benton, KY three step-daughter, Eva Swift of Benton, KY; Lisa McIntyre of Calvert City, KY, and Patricia Turner of Benton, KY, one brother, Bill Bourland of Benton, KY three sisters, Annabel Bourland Faircloth of Paducah, KY, Jackie Beth Bourland Jones of Aurora, KY and Janice Jones of Benton, KY twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ada Irene Burd Bourland, four sisters, Patsy Walker, Robbie West, Iva Hilderbrandt and Rubena Bourland and one brother, James Bourland.
