Rites Held For N. D. Barton
TOW--Noel Dudley Barton, 70, died Saturday, June 9, in the Llano Hospital.
Funeral services were held Monday at Clements chapel in Burnet with burial in the Shady Grove Cemetery with Masonic graveside services.
Barton was an instrument foreman for Signal Oil and Gas Company. He was a former resident of Houston and was a member of Llano Lodge No. 242, A.F.& A.M., Order of the eastern Star, Llano Chapter 216, Union Church of Buchanan Dam, and was chairman of the Paradise Point Landowners Association at Tow.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Virginia (Boots) Barton of Tow, four sisters, Mrs. Jewel Hyer of Big Spring, Mrs. Lou Bell Brewster of Big Spring, Mrs. Brewster of Bertram, Mrs. Jack Barber of Paradise Point, and Mrs. John Kozolowski of City Point, Wisc., and several nieces and nephews.
