Herman (Harry) Brandt, 89, passed away November 14, 2008 at a local hospital in Colorado Springs. Mr. Brandt was born February 13, 1919 in Golden Pond, Kentucky to Rony and Cora (Underhill) Brandt.

He was married to Marilyn (Miller) Brandt on November 19, 1965 in Colorado Springs. She preceded him in death. He served in the US Army during World War II and was stationed in the Philippines. After returning home he worked as an auto mechanic and later owned Harry's Rebuilding Service.

Harry's two children Pamela and Terry Joe also preceded him in death. He is survived by two step-children, Charles Towse of Colorado Springs and Patricia Resch of California, three nephews, Ronald and David Meredith both of Colorado Springs and Robert Pollick of California, one niece Carol Jason of Colorado Springs, three step grandchildren and one step great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday November 19th at 3:30 p.m., Evergreen Cemetery.
