From the Presbyterian of the South Newspaper of Richmond, Va. dated 21 Dec. 1921. He and his son, R.E. Morrel attended the Dedication ceremony of the Milford Presbyterian Church.

Texas Death Certificate No. 18165-17833. He was the son of Ralph DeKalb Morrel of Raleigh, NC and Sarah Ann Arnold of TX. He was married and a farmer. Age: 74 yrs, 2 mo & 6 days. Cause of death was angina pectoris. Informant was R.E. Morrel of Milford.
