He was born in Texas the son of William D. & Beatrice S. Moore. On the 1940 census he was working as a farm laborer.

SGT. Jerald D. Moore attended Milford High School. He left Camp Bowie in 1941 to join the Air Corps. He had training and schooling in different states and (at the time this book was published) was located at Alpine, Texas.
∼B: Breckenridge, Tx. D: North Richland Hills, Tx. Buried; 01/28/04. Survived by wife of 61 yrs., Gene Moore.
